This addition will aid the game's longevity, but I don't see Ragdoll Blaster being a game you come back to repeatedly. There are, though, 70+ levels, and Backflip Studios promise a further 30+ levels in a future update. But one slight downer is that once you complete the levels, you won't be gagging to play them again. There is very little to criticize Ragdoll Blaster about. In my opinion, the graphics suit the concept perfectly. In fact, this kind of game probably prides itself on its graphical style. But what do you need? Fancy 3D, fully textured, bump mapped, ray traced graphics would be grossly unnecessary. Some may scoff at the graphics in Ragdoll Blaster. That said, you can just blast off a few ragdolls and see what happens. Blocks on pivots, rotating contraptions, spring loaded platforms - all need your brain to be turned up to 10. Quite often the solution to a level isn't immediately obvious. Other levels require more brute force: a pile of blocks are in the way - you need to use your ragdolls as cannonballs, blasting clear the obstruction. Couple this knowledge with a control system that allows you to fling your matchstick man with finely judged strength, and you have a concept that makes for some challenging levels.įor example, you may have a triangle in your way and you may have to hurl your ragdoll with just enough power to just clear the top of the triangle, but still land near the base of the far side of the triangle. They have an effect on the whatever object they may land or crash into. The stick figures move - all flailing limbs - as you would expect a real doll to move. What makes this game interesting is, firstly, discovering how to complete a level - quite often through trial and error - and secondly, the rag doll physics that the game's name implies. Blocks, pulleys, see-saws, springs - all combine to hinder or help you to attain your goal. But pretty soon more and more obstacles are put in the way of your little man. Sounds simple? Well, it starts out that way. The moment your doll comes into contact with the red circle the level is completed. The premise of this game is this: you are required to aim the eponymous ragdoll at a red circle. ![]() This is the sort of game that could have been planned out on the back of a beer mat - but it clearly has been crafted with skill and cunning. In fact the word simplicity sums up its graphics too - that's not a criticism - they suit the game, and are charming in an L.S. Please see the individual game pages for purchasing info.Ragdoll Blaster is simple game, with simple tenets. Prices are subject to change and are therefore unlisted. NOTE: Games listed may not be available outside of North America. An excellent and well-balanced digging game. Return to the surface, sell the loot, and upgrade your abilities so you can go even further down. Dig down as deep as you dare, careful to keep an eye on your oxygen meter at the top of the screen, and gather what gems you can. The goal is to pick up as much cash and metal as you can get your grubby little paws on. ![]() Mole: Quest for the Terracore gem! - A digging game in the vein of I Dig It, Mole is a little more arcade-oriented and focuses on short rounds of digging and treasure finding. An excellent follow-up to an already excellent game, and the visual upgrade is much appreciated! ![]() All you have to do is brush up against it to finish the level, but that usually involves nasty moving platforms, pushing blocks of ice, transporting cannon control, teleporters, or a number of other creative obstacles. Tap the screen to shoot a ragdoll towards the target. Ragdoll Blaster 2 - The action/puzzle-oriented physics game has returned, now with more ragdolls, more cannons, and more of everything in-between. The community is great, the quiz questions varied, and the experience is as smooth as you could possibly imagine. The set-up couldn't be simpler: fire up the game, pick a lobby with the theme and difficulty you're in the mood for, then start answering questions.
